PABX Installations and Maintenance
Except a few small private board exchange (PBX) phone systems, all other PABX phone systems require installation by competent technicians and engineers of the manufacturer or the dealer. PABX Phone System wiring
In general, telephone system wiring is done with twisted pairs of copper wires. In a 2-pair wire, you will find a set of red and green wires and another set of yellow and black wires. Each set can carry one telephone line. If you have more phone lines, then you will require higher pair wires. Phone wires generally come in 2 gauges, 22 and 24. The latter is normal standard for the phone industry. Similarly, RJ-11 and RJ-14 modular plugs, handling one and two phone lines are used in phone systems.
